VW Beetle Broken rear power window repair

This is a VERY common problem for the 2003+ VW Beetle. The rear power window breaks and you can’t raise or lower the glass from the switch. This is a VERY COSTLY repair from your local VW Dealership. However, Specialized Car Audio Inc. can repair this problem at a fraction of the cost of what the dealer would charge.

This customer who lives in Addison Illinois came to us with her 2005 VW beetle after she had received an outrageous quote from her local VW dealership in Schaumburg Illinois. They wanted to sell her more parts than what is really required to repair this problem. The issue is that the plastic “connector” that connects the two ends of the steel cable together breaks, and once that happens the steel cable is loose and gets into a twisted mess ultimately ruining the cable and requiring replacement of the cable/connector/and main pulley.

Although this is a very labor intensive job, requiring dis-assembly of the entire rear portion of the vehicle it gain access to the broken parts and remove the window assembly for rebuild, Specialized Car Audio, Inc. in Bensenville Illinois can do this repair for your VW beetle at a fraction of the cost of what the dealership will charge you!

Call or email us today to get a quote if your VW beetle is in need of this repair!
