Adding headrest monitors to a new car can be tricky because a lot of newer cars are coming out with “active headrest systems” which are another safety feature to help prevent whiplash in an accident.
So we can’t simply add a monitor to the stock headrest, or replace the headrest for that matter without compromising the active headrest system, so we add a vehicle specific piggy back system like this dual DVD setup from ROSEN.
Each monitor has its own built in DVD player so each passenger can watch their own DVD with their own wireless headphones, or both monitors can view the same DVD.
