GMC Yukon Touch Screen DVD Installation

Here is a 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid that we installed a 2013 Kenwood DDX-770 in Dash 7″ touch screen DVD entertainment system. After the customer was repeatedly told he couldn’t accomplish what he wanted, he finally contacted us and we were able to do everything on his list.
He wanted to retain his factory backup camera, On-Star, steering wheel controls, and install xm/satellite radio with new radio.
For some reason, 3 other shops told him “NO”, you can’t do all that.
When he told me this story I was floored! these are not abnormal requests, so it just goes to show you that an experienced shop/installer makes a world of difference when it comes to PROPERLY integrating new technology into your vehicle!
